TheAH-64 Apache and Ka-52 are the most powerful gunship made for close air support; both have been used on battlefields extensively. The Guardian and Hokum-B have a specification that gives one of them an advantage over the other. Their most powerful variants are the Apache Guardian and the Alligator, used by the USAF and Russian Air
Comparedto the Z-Cobra Apache has a better gun, better payload capacity, better loiter time, more armor/better survivability, better computer/electronics package. Secondhand info here, but a buddy who'd flown both also said the -64's MTADS sighting systems smoked what the -1Z was fielding at the time. Can't confirm personally. The RAH-66 will be used as a scout and attack helicopter to include an air-to-ground and air-to-air combat capability. The Comanche is slated to replace the AH-1 Series Cobra light

theres not a tremendous difference in capabilities, vis-a-vis what people tend to care about in DCS, between a modern Cobra and an AH-64 without the longbow or guardian stuff.
